Day 1 - This great trip begins in St St Louis. Where following hotel check-in, you visit the Gateway Arch and the Museum of Westward Expansion. Your admission ticket includes a ride to the top, followed by a dinner cruise on Gateway Riverboats.
Day 2 - Heading west in the footsteps of pioneers you stop at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch. A reminder of frontier days the cowboys, cattle, and roping is today, just as it was in the 1870s. Overnight in Tulsa.
Day 3 - Morning travel takes you to to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. Through stunning art and splendid exhibitions, it tells America's story as it unfolds across the West. You also visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. A tribute to those who were killed, those who survived the 1995 bombing.. Evening arrival in Amarillo, TX for the night, with dinner at the famous Big Texan Steak House.
Day 4 - Leaving Amarillo you stop at the Cadillac Ranch to see the ten graffiti-covered cars half-buried, nose-down, facing west "at the same angle as the Cheops' pyramid". Afternoon stop in Albuquerque to ride the Sandia Peak Aerial Tram. You'll want to dress warm for this ride to the 10,000 foot summit. You then continue to the Acoma Reservation west of Albuquerque and overnight at the Sky City Casino. Dinner Buffet included.
Day 5 - The Acoma Pueblo & Sky City Cultural Center is built high atop a sheer-walled, 367-foot sandstone bluff in a beautiful valley studded with sacred, towering monoliths. Truly one of the most magnificent vistas in the Southwest. Continuously occupied since 1150 A.D., Sky City is the oldest inhabited community in North America. The mesa-top settlement is known worldwide for its unique art and rich culture.
Afternoon travel includes a stop at the Painted Desert Visitors Center in the Petrified Forest National Park, then a drive on the northern loop of the Petrified Forest Road. Arrive Flagstaff Overnight.
Day 6 - Travel to Las Vegas, for a two night stay. Stop at the Hoover Dam Visitor Center (in depth tours are available at a small extra cost). After hotel check-in at Las Vegas you enjoy the evening City Lights Tour. See the Gondolas of Venice, the dancing fountains of the Bellagio, the erupting volcanoes at the Mirage & the Eiffel Tower!. Plus, the neon of downtown Las Vegas and the Fremont Street Experience!.
Day 7 - Free Day in Las Vegas.
Day 8 - Travel to Grand Canyon National Park. Overnight. Late afternoon feature is the Imax Theater and Dinner, after which you return to watch the Sunset from the South Rim.
Day 9 - Depart the Grand Canyon with a shopping stop at the Cameron Trading Post. Then visit the Navajo Nation's Monument Valley Park one of the most majestic - and most photographed - points on earth. You will have time at the visitors center and a brief tour of Monument Valley. Continue to Durango, CO, overnight
Day 10 - Travel to Colorado Springs, CO. This afternoon you tour the Garden of the Gods. Dinner this evening is at Guiseppe's Old Depot Restaurant. Overnight.
Day 11 - Travel to Abilene, KS. Dinner.
Day 12 - Return to St Louis, Overnight. Farewell Dinner.
Day 13 - Travel Home.
