The Pirates of St Augustine
History with a little Mayhem
St Augustine is where it all started. Spanish conquerors followed Columbus and established their first settlement in the New World, right here in Florida. Then, following the Spanish, came the Pirates. Both of these groups have had a distinct impact on that early history and today's tourism. The city reflects this mix of the old and the new. Tourist trains and horse drawn carriage both work the cobblestone streets. So come, enjoy a little history. Have a little fun! St Augustine is waiting to entertain you.

Day 1 - This tour package begins with two Nights First Class Lodging in the Historic District. Then a nice dinner at Harry's Seafood Grille, followed by the Pirates of St. Augustine Ghost Tour. It's a journey through the narrow streets, cemeteries, and grounds of the nation’s oldest city. Your pirate guide with lantern lit will share stories of the ghosts, mysteries, and histories that still roam the streets and grounds of the little village.
Day 2 - Hearty breakfast buffet. This morning you climb on board the St Augustine Trolley for a narrated tour. You’ll have a chance to see the Ancient City in all its glory, from historical attractions like the site where Ponce de Leon first landed ashore to the old Spanish Fort.
Following this tour you set sail on the Pirate Ship Black Raven. It's a chance to learn of the History, Mystery Magic and Mayhem long attributed to Pirates. You'll sing along, help with sails, and participate in an entertaining and interactive show with a Pirate Crew that are actually professional actors.
Next you have free time in the Historic District for lunch and shopping. Followed by a visit to the Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest handmade national monument in the continental USA. The fort was built by the Spanish in 1672 to protect their interests in the New World.
Then the last attraction of the afternoon is Ponce De Leon's Fountain of Youth (c.a.1513.) You will discover it as an Archaeological Park and you will learn of that first encounter in 1513 between the Spanish and the Indians. Your tour guide will also show you the original spring and you will have a chance to drink from just as thousands before you have.
Dinner tonight at another local reastaurant caps the tour.
Day 3 - Hearty breakfast buffet and depart for home.
